Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Creating dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Scripting, data source integration, data transformation and advanced visual development in Power BI
- Implement various DAX functions and queries
- Performance Monitoring, fine-tuning and optimization of dashboards
- Publishing and sharing dashboards, scheduling data refreshes
- Implement SQL queries, data warehousing and business intelligence concepts to organize, manage and manipulate data in various data sources and implement solutions that are optimized for Power BI reporting and analysis
- Work on Microsoft Azure to integrate Power BI with Azure to create robust and scalable data solutions
Requirements
A Power BI developer with a love for technology, and:
- Minimum of 3+ years in a Power BI development role
- Strong knowledge of Azure BI Services including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Analysis Services
- Highly motivated, creative thinker, self-starter, and fast learner with demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills.
Good to have
- Knowledge and experience in implementation of various security configurations like RLS and OLS. Implement application security layer models in Power BI
- Experience in developing for Power BI administration for the Power BI dedicated and shared workspace environments
- Strong understanding of the Azure Cloud Platform and tools and architecture
- Certification in Power BI, Azure
