Azure Synapse Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up data pipelines using Azure Synapse
  • Developing Data Validation and Reconciliation Jobs Using Synapse Pipeline Skills: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, SQL
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
  • Keep data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centres and Azure regions
  • Analyse test reports, identify any test issues/errors and triage the underlying cause
  • Design and develop end-to-end Azure Synapse Analytics solutions
  • Implement the best practices in Azure Synapse

Requirements

An Azure Synapse engineer with a love for technology, and:             

  • Expert in Azure Synapse and very good understanding of Database and Datawarehouse concepts
  • Expert level database knowledge and experience
  • Experience in working on a Cloud environment (preferably Azure)
  • Experience in PySpark and Python
  • Experience working in migration projects
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)

Good to have

  • Certification in Azure Synapse
